Markdown Knowledge Graph is ready for careful early adopters, not frictionless enterprise rollout. Start with a small repo, keep changes in Git, and use validation before trusting larger workflows.

Project DB, queues, subgraphs, graph import, workflow mirrors, and MCP are alpha surfaces that need repo-specific tests.
Use mdkg upgrade dry-runs, changelog notes, local commits, and strict doctor output before changing established repos.
mdkg will keep tightening command UX, warning summaries, docs, graph import safety, subgraph workflows, and advanced local state. Public alpha means you should expect careful release notes and repo-level validation before adopting new surfaces. Markdown graph files remain the durability boundary that should be reviewable in normal Git history.
